1. Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Violation Scan Pro and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
2. No Legal Advice
Violation Scan Pro is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal services of any kind. The Service is provided for informational and self-help purposes only. Nothing in the Service should be construed as legal advice. You should consult with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction if you need legal advice.
3. Eligibility and U.S.-Only Use
The Service is currently intended for consumers and businesses located in the United States. By using the Service, you represent that you reside in one of the 50 U.S. states or territories and that you will use the Service only in accordance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
4. Accounts and Security
At present, you may use certain letter-generation features without creating an account. In the future, we may allow you to register an account with your name, email, and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Without limitation, you agree that you will not:
- Use the Service to engage in any fraudulent, misleading, or illegal activity.
- Input false or deliberately inaccurate information for the purpose of misleading third parties.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, accounts, or data of other users.
- Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Service, including by launching denial-of-service attacks or introducing malware.
6. Payments and Pricing
In the future, certain features of the Service may be offered as paid products (for example, per-scan access or subscriptions). Pricing, billing terms, and any applicable refund policies will be described on the relevant pricing page. Payment processing will be handled by a third-party provider (such as Stripe), and your use of that service will also be subject to their terms and policies.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including software, text, design, graphics, logos, and templates (excluding the information you provide), are owned by Violation Scan Pro or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service solely for your personal or internal business purposes.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME OR THAT ANY LETTER, TEMPLATE, OR RECOMMENDATION WILL PRODUCE A GIVEN RESULT.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER VIOLATION SCAN PRO NOR ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR PROVIDERS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Violation Scan Pro and its affiliates, officers, employees, and providers from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, to the extent permitted by law. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, when required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
To the extent permitted by law, these Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Subscription Billing
By subscribing to Violation Scan Pro you agree to pay the recurring subscription fees associated with the plan you select at checkout.
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated and will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
2. Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew each month using the payment method on file unless canceled before your next billing date.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Violation Scan Pro to charge your payment method for all recurring subscription fees applicable to your selected plan.
3. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team at contact@violationscanpro.com.
Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period.
- You will continue to have access to the platform and services throughout the remainder of that billing cycle.
- No future recurring charges will occur after cancellation is processed.
4. Refund Policy
All subscription payments are generally non-refundable. However, we may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the event of billing errors or exceptional circumstances.
Because access to the software, platform infrastructure, and related services is provided immediately upon subscription activation, Violation Scan Pro does not provide prorated or partial refunds for:
- unused time
- partial billing periods
- downgrades
- unused features
- or account inactivity
5. Accidental Charges & Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged in error or experienced an unauthorized or accidental renewal, you must contact us within 7 days of the charge date at contact@violationscanpro.com.
Refund requests for duplicate charges, billing errors, or accidental renewals will be reviewed fairly and in good faith on a case-by-case basis.
6. Plan Changes
Users may upgrade or downgrade their subscription plans at any time.
- Upgrades may take effect immediately and may result in a prorated charge.
- Downgrades will generally take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle.
Feature availability and usage limits may change depending on the selected plan.
7. Failed Payments
If a payment cannot be successfully processed:
- your account access may be limited or suspended,
- services may be interrupted,
- and your subscription may be canceled after repeated failed payment attempts.
Violation Scan Pro reserves the right to retry failed payments using the payment method on file.
8. Account Termination
Violation Scan Pro reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse the platform, or attempt unauthorized access to services.
No refunds will be provided for accounts terminated due to policy violations.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update or modify this Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the platform after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
